Guild Guidebook: Heirlooms 101

Welcome to the third edition of Guild Guidebook! In this edition, we cover how to outfit that new alt of yours into shiny new armor.

On the table below there is a list of heirlooms and what they cost to obtain from three different currencies. That's because you can get the heirlooms from three different vendors: Krom Stoutarm in Ironforge for gold, Daenrand Dawncrest for Darkmoon Prize Tickets, or Dame Evniki Kapsalis for Crusader's Seal.

If you had an heirloom before the new system came out in 6.1, it was updated to be 1-90. However, any newly purchased heirlooms will be 1-60. You can then purchase the items in the table below to upgrade them to higher level ranges (1-90, 1-100) for hefty sums from the same vendors.

There is a series of quests to get the upgrades quicker, but it requires you to do a random heroic once per day.

There is also a series of achievements associated with the new system, one of which awards you with a mount.

• Heirloom Hoarder -- Rewards the Chauffeured Chopper mount, usable at level 1!
