In this article, we will cover all the recent happenings of the last week in World of Warcraft news. Buckle up, and let's get started.
Legion Alpha Build
Here is a summary of some interesting things from this week's alpha build:
- Pet Updates: A new pet Sting Ray Pup, corrupted pet effect Ominous Pet Treat, and the best is the Pocket Pet Portal, which increases your pet maximum to 1,500 (up from 1,000).
- New Tomes of Illusion let you collect distinctive weapon appearances from a continent. For example, Tome of Illusions: Northrend lets you collect Berserking, Greater Spellpower, and Icy Chill. These illusions require you to collect old world materials suitable for each expansion - such as Abyss Crystal.
- New Hallow's End Costume: Exquisite Costume Set: "Grommash"
- New armor Ensembles have been added, mostly for PvP sets, but also Ensemble: Fel-Infused Cloth Armor, Ensemble: Felshroud Leather Armor, Ensemble: Fel-Chain Mail Armor, and Ensemble: Felforged Plate Armor
- Dalaran has new coins to fish from the fountain which are required for The Wish Remover. A full list can be found here. Some amusing ones include The Coin, Blingtron's Botcoin, Hemet Nessingwary's Bullet, Murky's Coin, and Illidan's Coin. You can use new bait like Glob of Really Sticky Glue, Auriphagic Sardine, and Wish Crystal to fish them up.
- There are placeholder rep tokens for the Legion factions (they currently give rep with the Klaxxi): Warden's Insignia, Court of Farondis Insignia, Nightfallen Insignia, Valajar Insignia, Dreamweaver Insignia, and Highmountain Tribe Insignia.
- Three new titles have been added, presumably for classes: Farseer, Huntmaster, and Netherlord.
- Several new models, which can be viewed here.
