Heroes of the Storm: The Mayhem Begins Summary and VOD

New Hero: The Butcher
Blizzard has confirmed that this new melee assassin is on his way to the Nexus! Below you can see a picture of him and his ability set:

New Battleground: Battlefield of Eternity

What's better than a new hero? A new Battleground of course! Battlefield of Eternity is a two-lane
map with a teamfight centric mechanic.

In the center of the map, there are Immortals. One for heaven, and one for hell. The goal is to defend your immortal and defeat the opposite team's immortal. When you defeat the opposite immortal, yours gains a shield equal to the amount of health it had left and it heals to full health. It then searches the lane that has the most obstacles and starts pushing.

And Blizzard isn't done yet. New Skins, Mounts, more heroes, and even another battleground will be released with this "content pack" which as you might have guessed is themed around Diablo. Blizzard has stated that the PTR for this pack starts on June 23rd and is slated to release on June 30th!
