World of Warcraft Patch 6.2 Bonus Events

With Patch 6.2 (probably) right around the corner, let's take a look at the new bonus events coming with the patch.

The Bonus Event system consists of a rotating schedule of seven different activities, currently scheduled to run Friday through Monday of each week. Each event offers a passive bonus to a specific game activity, and offers a once-per-event quest with a noteworthy reward for accomplishing a related goal.

So, what are the events?

• Timewalking
  This schedule will feature two different Timewalking bonus events, themed around an expansion: The Burning Crusade, or Wrath of the Lich King. Your character's level and gear scale down to the dungeon at Heroic Difficulty, but the rewards scale up to level 100 making it a great way to gear alts, or get some cool transmog. The quest for this event entails completing three Timewalking Dungeons. Successfully completing this quest rewards you with a seal for a bonus roll (not counting towards your 3/week limit)!
• Draenor Dungeons
  While this bonus event is active, defeating enemies in any Draenor dungeon will award reputation with an appropriate faction. Completing two Mythic Dungeons as part of a quest for the event will reward you with a Heroic Hellfire Citadel raid cache. 
• Battlegrounds
  During the Battlegrounds bonus event, you'll earn triple Honor points from random Battlegrounds. Completing the event quest which asks to complete a few random Battlegrounds awards you with 500 Conquest Points (that don't count towards the weekly cap).
• Arena Skirmishes
  You'll earn triple Honor from Arena Skirmishes during this event. A quest to win several random Battlegrounds will award you with 500 Conquest Points (that don't count towards the weekly cap)
• Apexis
  If you're trying to stock up on Apexis Crystals, you'll be able to gain triple the apexis crystals from eligible creatures during this bonus event. Completing three area assault quests during the event awards a sizable amount of Oil to fuel the new Naval missions as part of your Shipyard.
• Pet Battles
  During Pet Battle bonus events, you'll be able to take your pet out for a little exercise and earn triple experience from battles. Winning 5 PvP Pet Battles as part of a quest during the event awards you with an Ultimate-Battle Training Stone that instantly levels a pet to 25.
